My name is Cassandra Hill. I am a Christian Holistic Wellness Influencer. My mission is to empower women particularly minority women to achieve physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness. I am the owner of Holistic Living Consulting a health & wellness company that was founded in 2018. Prior to starting my business I had a career as a Gerontologist in the senior care industry. When I was diagnosed with systemic lupus my career came to an abrupt halt. Becoming frustrated with the side effects of the medicine is what spurred my into studying health and wellness and I developed a regimen that put me in remission.

Trust yourself and be confident in your skills and abilities.

My biggest challenge in business has been access to capital. Due to lack of access, I maintained a job for the first two years in business. Working full time effects, the number of clients that can be seen since most of the day is spent working a job. I also turned down opportunities that conflicted with the job.

Do not listen to the naysayers.

For women venturing into entrepreneurship trust yourself and be confident in your skills and abilities. There will come a time when you need to step out on faith and pursue your business full-time. Do not listen to the naysayers and know that you are moving towards creating your destiny. When walking into your calling develop a support team find people who genuinely care about your mission and goals.
