Battle The Inner Critic

 

My name is Lisanne Cozart. I live on the Seacoast of New Hampshire with my husband and 15 year old daughter. The more I believe in myself, the more I believe in myself

My biggest challenge in life has been in believing in myself. We are all born of infinite potential and possibility, yet along the road of life we are trained to doubt and discredit ourselves. I have found that as I challenge my own limiting beliefs and step into my higher being, I am able to translate what that means in each facet of my life. It seems silly, and so obvious, but the more I believe in myself, the more I believe in myself, and am therefore willing to reach for more and more.

We never know what we can do until we do it and it’s done.

My advice to women, battle the inner critic. Challenge her to prove why she can’t, why you can’t, by making her show up and prove her failure. We never know what we can do until we do it and it’s done. If I can, then YOU can, WE ALL CAN!

Woman to woman empowerment is important. I believe as women, specifically speaking to moms, we lose our identities. We spend an absorbent number of years catering to every whim and whimper of our children, and of our spouses, that we forget that we have value and worth. We fool ourselves into believing we deserve to be last in line for care, for thought, and for love. It is only once we begin showing up for ourselves and each other that we can be reminded that this world needs us, thrives and survives off of us, and it’s not just us as the collective, it’s also you and I, individually. As I support you, you support me, and we lift each other.
